About

The Tilak College Katni was established on 04.08.1958 and was taken over on 07.02.1971 and since then postgraduate classes were also started in the college.  There are 04 posts in the department and the faculty members working against these posts. The Department is actively involved in academic and research activities. The department of Hindi organised many national level seminar, workshop and academic lecture.  Department of Hindi is dedicated toward holistic development of students. Department is also engaged in high quality research in medieval and modern literature. Department provides atmosphere where the traditions are blended with modern outlook as our nation requires today. Department offers UG and PG courses. Department is enriched with well qualified teachers. Presently there are 03 permanent and 01 guest faculties. Dr Madhuri Garg is HOD of the department and also Phd supervisor under RDVV University. Mrs. Sushma Maurya and Mr. Navin Gautam (M.A. Hindi) got UGC NET-JRF in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
