Department of Geography


About

The Department of Geography at Govt Tilak College Katni is an eminent leading center of geography education and research in Madhya Pradesh. Geography teaching in this college at UG level began in 1982 whereas at PG level in 2004. The importance of the department lies in fact that the need of UG and PG students coming mostly from countryside area in large number. There are there posts in the Department. 02 permanent faculties and 01 faculty from Janbhagidari Samiti are working in the Department. Presently Dr VK Dwivedi is the HOD of the Department.
